This hostel was such a super find! From the giant kitchen and awesome book exchange section, to the free ear plugs and SUPER friendly owner- I would go back in a second. The hostel is small cosy place to stay sleeping 10 people in 2 dorm rooms & up to 2 people in a Private Room. All facilities are shared. There is a full kitchen, BBQ & fire-pit available for guests to use. The hostel is an easy 10-15 minute walk from Golden town centre with its restaurants, shops & bars. It is also 10-15 minute walk from the Greyhound station on Highway1. Kicking Horse Hostel is also ideal for small groups who want to book the hostel for exclusive use. Golden is quietly becoming the adventure outdoor capital of the Rockies with a comprehensive selection of activities to get the adrenaline racing. Skydiving, paragliding, white-water rafting, cc/downhill mountain biking, quad-biking, skiing/snowboarding & snow-mobiling to name some of the more lively things to do here. The town is also ideally situated between Glacier & Yoho National Parks making it a perfect cost effective base to explore these amazing Parks. Lake Louise is also only an hour away.
