We had the pleasure of dining at Anglers Dining, the restaurant at Dolphins Resort. From start to finish, it was a superb experience from the friendly maître d’, the excellent server, the tempting beverage and food selections, to the outstanding meal. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

We were travelling across Vancouver island with Campbell river being one of our destinations. The dolphins resort is located a little outside but very well accessible by car. The cabins are just gorgeous. The kitchen has just what we needed to cook inside and our cabin had a nice balcony with private hot tub with a direct view on the cost but just enough privacy to shield the rest of the balcony with plants. We really loved this place and would definitely come back when we visit Campbell river again. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. We can highly recommend this place.

We spent three nights at the Dolphin Resort and had a memorable time. The cabin we selected had by far in our opinion the best view and was away from all the other cabins. While it is a cabin, it was extremely clean, beds comfortable but the beds were not a Queen or King but a double. That being said, there were twin beds in the other bedroom so that worked itself out. The restaurant is quite expensive and basically for dinner was a hit and a miss. The one thing we must say is the Dolphin Resort staff was outstanding - they assisted in everyway. The one disappointment was the chartered fishing boat was advertised to have a washroom and it did not. That was somewhat problematic for an 8 hour fishing trip.

The resort consists of individual cabins grouped together facing the inner passage channel between Vancouver island and chain of other islands towards the mainland side. It was very clever how the resort arranged the cabins to give each a feeling of isolation in the relatively small area for all cabins. You were close to other cabins, but it usually it did not feel so. Pick you cabin carefully, there are significant differences. Some have a much better view, some have private hot tubs (that was very nice after a day of fishing). We stayed in Cabin 2 and were pleased. One of the reasons to go was to fish. Our experience was great after a slightly rocky start. We weren't prompted to get our fishing licenses the night before and was difficult to get them at 7:00am. This is where Joe, the fishing boat captain, saved the day. He got our license and from then on, he was the greatest. Catching started slow. Of course you are not guaranteed a zillion fish and we were not there at the greatest time of year. Joe just kept at, moving location, changing location, changing lures until we started catching. It was glorious after that. The three of us got four King Salmon and that was a perfect day for us. Lots of interesting boat traffic on the passage.

Anglers was amazing. They were able to accommodate our large party outside under beautifully lit patio. The food was top notch, the wine selection was decent and the chef's creativity was wonderful. The views are second to none. We look forward to going back to here is one of our special places to visit in Campbell River

Angler’s dining was fantastic. It’s located in the very cozy Dolphins Resirt. Fresh food, prepared very well, large portions. Great service. Great views from the dining room. Overall, this restaurant is a major plus for this area. Dinner reservations are highly recommended.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful the resort is! The staff were amazing and knocked it out of the park to make our daughters wedding seamless and perfect. The location is awesome, the food was fantastic and the cottages are a perfect mix of spotless rustic casual comfort. The bbq on the lawn was delicious, the set up for the wedding was stunning and every night ended with a bonfire on the beach. This was the perfect spot for a rustic/chic beach wedding, while still being fun and relaxing. Don’t hesitate to book a dream wedding here!

Just spent three full days, two half days at this seaside resort. Fabulous fly-fishing for Cutthroat Trout and Dolly Varden. Angler's Restaurant has outstanding food and portions I couldn't finish. Owner Clint Cameron runs a first-class resort.
