We camped for 2 nights at Elk Island National Park and it was really a pleasant change for us mountain camping folk! The lakes were serene and we saw a heron, pipers and even a couple of swans. There are 6 or 7 hikes to do, and some are 4 or 5 hours each. We did find that the one... More

We just spent four nights camping at Elk Island park. It's a wonderful experience. There's a nice hike along Moss Lake. Sitting down by the sandy beach is very relaxing. There were certainly mosquitos but they were tolerable. I would advise Deet if you are travelling here. The bison are really quite something to see. There is an amphitheatre which... More
