We chose the Gananoque Inn for our wedding because we wanted a place where all our out of town guests could gather for the weekend and feel like they were in an intimate setting. The Inn was an absolutely perfect venue for our 'cottage' themed wedding. Not only was the staff extremely accommodating but they went the extra mile to... More

We stayed in Gananoque on our way through a few weeks ago. We booked the B&B package, which was quite reasonable. It's a beautiful old hotel, and the service is fantastic. We didn't really get to experience much of the town, or the hotel, but it was great nonetheless. More

We had a wonderful 23rd anniversary weekend at the inn. The Inn offers 53 tastefully decorated rooms, some with a Jacuzzi or fireplace, located in several buildings: Main, Waterfront, Annex and Cedar Knoll. The first night we stayed in a fireplace room. The room provided two queen beds, a sitting area and a walk out to the lawns and gardens.... More

We had a wonderful anniversary weekend at the Gananoque Inn. Clean room, great view and ambiance. Nice sitting around the fireplace in the lobby. Wonderful buffet breakfast was included in the price. I would have no hesitation recommending the Gananoque Inn. More

All staff very friendly & professional. Our room was on the 2nd flr, overlooking the St. Lawrence. The view is spectacular! Room cleanliness was outstanding. Loved the fireplace & jacuzzi tub. The tile warmer in the bathroom was a very pleasant surprise. Would stay there again in a heartbeat & would definately highly recommend it. More

On Friday before Easter my wife and I arrived in Gananoque from Ottawa. We stayed for 2 nights until Easter Sunday in a clean, spacious, well-appointed room with a jacuzzi in the motel section by the water with a special including dinner and breakfast. Upon our arrival in the room we discovered a basket full of goodies (cookies, chocolates, chips,...)... More

My husband and I had pre-booked a one night stay at the Inn and since it was off season we got a very good rate that included breakfast. However upon arrival we learned we were in a room not at the Inn but in what they refer to as the motel - we were sceptical as it doesn't look like... More

Thank you for taking time to comment on you winter stay with us. Perhaps on a warmer return visit you can enjoy morning coffee in the chairs outside the waterfront rooms! More

Graet little Inn on the water Front desk staff very professional and helpful. Loved the homemade cookies at the front desk in the afternoon Was disappointed that the main dining room was closed for winter. They should point that out when booking as we were looking forward to dining on the property. The other restaurant/pub, which is a little grungy... More

We stayed in a very clean and spacious room (1King/garden/jacuzzi/fireplace/Annex). It was very quiet and relaxing. We really enjoyed our time here. The boat tours of 1000 islands are within (short) walking distance from the hotel. Overall i would say that this is a place I will definitely visit again. More

On my way from Toronto to Ottawa this week, I decided to stay in Gananoque instead of travelling the additonal 150 kilometres on to Ottawa and pay inflated mid-week prices for very average hotels. The Gananoque is an historic property overlooking the St. Lawrence River and the old town pier. The rooms are large. Most have a view of the... More
