The view was nice and the town is very pretty. Unfortunately the hotel is badly in need of a renovation. The beds were awful and the decor was old and outdated. Definitely not worth the money.

We had a very happy experience at Auberge de la Pointe. We loved our room with balcony, and the view alone would have brought us back. The service was exceptional, friendly and helpful - we arrived on a Saturday night without a dinner reservation, but although at first we were told the dining room was full the maitre d found...

You can't beat the view. This has to be said. When we arrived at the Auberge de la Pointe, we were told that our reservations were for a different night, despite double and triple-checking all our dates when booking. We patiently waited, and were upgraded to a room overlooking the river with a gorgeous view (originally we were to be...

My sister and I stayed one night as a stop during a road trip. The place was comfortable, clean and friendly but found it expensive for what we got. Room was spacious but in need of renovations/updating. Food was good, view from bar was nice. When we arrived, the onsite spa was closed. We tried to book massages the next...

The website shows a very modern view of this hotel complex when in actuality the photos are only of the main building. We stayed in a very old looking part called the boulevard. The room was clean but very much in need of a major update. The beds were really stiff and low to the ground with just a mattress...

We were very unpleasantly surprised by the room at this supposedly 4 star hotel. It reminded me of a hunt camp. The beds were akin to being in a cottage and the rug was disgusting. It crunched under foot. Yuck! If it hadn't been so late at night we would not have stayed there but we arrived around 11 o'clock...

We were trying to see the Gaspe Peninsula in Canada but ran into torrential rain & thick sea fog, so gave up & checked in here. It is a large & sprawling hotel, connected by a series of closed in walkways. The room was spacious & comfortable with what should have been a view of the St Lawrence. My wife...

We think that this hotel has great aspirations but that it is not there yet! The food is so so (appalling deserts), and if the menu looks great on paper it is not so when the plate arrives.
Nice location though.

This place shows 4 star rooms on the internet but gives you 1 star rooms with no air conditioning or internert service as described. The rooms also smell of mold.We would never go again.

My family recently stayed at at this hotel for one evening while travelling from New Brunswick to Ontario, and and based on our experience, I would be inclined to recommend the hotel to others.
The stay got off to a rough start as our room was not ready when we arrived at 5pm - there was an issue with the...
