This BandB is perfectl located one street above the harbor. Every Place in Lunenburg is accessible by foot. The welcome from the owner was warm and perfect. The room was spectacular with a jaccuzzi and a large and comfortable bed with a view of the harbor. Being there in the off-season, Kieth and his team took great care in making... More

We stayed here for a night in August. Room #1 was very nice, with a four post bed, and a large corner jacuzzi. We had a great view of the harbour. The highlight was a spectacular sunset sail aboard the Eastern Star. The owner, and skipper, Keith was very knowledgeable and interesting. The sail was beautiful and relaxing. The breakfast... More

I can't say enough positive things about the Sail Inn. We had a great room, with an even greater bath! We arrived in Lunenburg without our luggage, and everyone offered to help in whatever way possible. Keith, the owner, invites his guests out on his beautiful, 42-foot sail boat. We were able to join the sunset cruise. What a treat!... More

Stayed for three nights on the third floor in Room#4, which had a great view of the harbor and was quiet (we did have the air conditioner on, which may have helped mitigate the street noise other reviewers noted but we did not experience; although we were there during the start of a music festival, the streets were quiet after... We stayed there for 4 nights, and I agree with another reviewer that it is a very noisy house, we just put the fan on, and that helped with the noise.Breakfast is served from 0800 - 0900, which could be hard for people that like to sleep in, we are on vacation. There is only hand soup available so bring... More

I recently spent a night at the Sail Inn B&B. I think what impressed me most was that I received an email early in the afternoon with instructions for how to enter the building and which room was mine. Amanda, the Innkeeper, had to leave early and wanted to insure that I had no trouble getting in. The instructions worked... More

My boyfriend and I travelled to Lunenburg for a weekend get-away back in October and we had such a great time. Staying at the Sail Inn B&B was so lovely. We got the room on the top floor with the jaccuzzi in it and it was clean and beautifully decorated. We could see the harbour from our windows and the... More

The owner of this B&B is a great guy who took us on a wonderful sailboat ride, free to those who stay at the Inn. He is warm, kind, and a great teacher for those of us who know nothing about sailing. The Inn itself had a few problems. First, we stayed on the second floor and could hear every... More

We selected the Sail Inn because it had a view of the water, and offered a trip on a schooner as part of the package. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with en suite bathroom. Very informal: no one was there when we arrived, however there was a phone number to call. Over the phone, we were given the... More

The lovely artist/cook Belle was pretty great to talk to, she was quite the entertainment for the guests from Illinois and myself. I was recommended to this B&B by my parents who stayed there last year. They took the complimentary trip included with your stay out on the Ocean with the Eastern Star sailboat. As this sailboat is having an... More
