I visited the inn this past weekend...... The inn was very dated but our room was very clean. We had a few little ones wanting to visit the pool so, we took them down to have a swim and found the pool disgraceful.... The paint surrounding the pool was chipped and stained... THe smell of the chlorine was extremely strong,... More

The staff here are exceptional! They go above and beyond for their guests. The hotel is older but well kept and clean. The internet is free and there is a continental breakfast provided each morning. They provide local homemade blueberry jam which is wonderful. The lunches and suppers are very good as well. The staff try their best to accommodate... More

I stayed here because there isn't much else around worth trying. So, I reserved a room on Expedia with the hopeful title 'Newly Renovated', which came at a greater expense. This was a mistake, because rather than the 'newly renovated' room that I expected, I found a room that certainly was not (even after asking the front desk if I... More

Friendly front staff. A bit dated on the outside, but room was nice, and was clean. Quiet hotel, very restful. Both my wife and I are gluten free, and we had requested a gluten free breakfast. They had multiple options for us, and homemade jam. Awesome. Very happy with the service and the stay. Would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I live close by and often stop for weekend breakfast at the Wandlyn's restaurant. Service has always been friendly and the food is good value for money. The blueberry pancakes are especially tasty, and I recommend them. The coffee is pretty weak, though. For great coffee in Amherst, try Bella's Bistro downtown!

This was our second time staying at the Wandlyn Inn in Amherst. If you're facing the back of the Inn you have a wonderful view of the "windmills" on the marsh flats. Outstanding view of the white turbine windmills against the backdrop of a clear blue sky and flat marshlands. The Inn is very clean and the staff are so... More

Traveling through the area and stayed overnight, dont think I would of stayed a 2nd night if necessary. Beds were slightly uncomfortable (very firm), the room was clean, however, the flooring gave a different opinion; burns and stains. Breakfast was very good... don't go there hungry, you'll be starved by the time you get it (minimal staff). For the price... More

The staff were very friendly, especially Janet and Chalene in the dining room. Chalene had a sunny disposition which was very welcome at breakfast. She saw to the gluten-free needs of my wife. The restaurant was better than any we could find in town. Our room, although dated, was quite clean, except that the air conditioner and baseboard heater looked... More

We recently stayed here for two nights. It's only about an hour from Confederation Bridge. The hotel makes you feel like you stepped back a few decades, but it was very clean, and the staff incredibly friendly. Breakfast was included, although chosen from a select menu, but that's fine, since it's more than adequate. The homemade jam is out of... More

Well I stayed here after a 10 day hiking trip around nova scotia. When I arrived at the hotel I was in for a real treat ... The exterior reminds me of an old truck stop, the lobby stinks and is outdated, Wall paper and mould cling on for dear life to the walls. I daringly asked for th cleanest... More
