The address of this hotel is incorrect. This hotel is in Coroico, not San Miguel. I stayed one night in this hotel. It is okay. The rooms are basic and the food is not great. The staff on reception were very nice. There were lots of kids staying here so it was fairly noisy. The views from the pool area... More

I stayed at the Viejo Molino last year and this year in May. The hotel has 3 floors, rooms on the 1st and 2nd floor are small but if you go up to the 3rd floor, there are four larger and more comfortable rooms. The small rooms however are allright and cleaned daily. There are two pools (one is for... More

I have stayed in 3 other places in Coroico, but I recently went to the Viejo Molino for my birthday last month. The staff are excellent especially the restaurant waiter/breakfast man and the night staff on reception. I went with my family, we had a great relaxing time, the place was so queit at night you could sleep sound. The... More

This is a hotel of poor quality as the rooms are quite dirty and outdated. For one or two nights, one could survive this place but I would not recommend it. The food is only average and the service is not exceptional. The view is beautiful and the pool is nice for swimming after being in the cold altitude of... More

This is our second 3 day visit in 1 1/2 years. Both stays have been very good. The hotel is CLEAN and well maintained - "a rarity" in Corioco. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms small but adequate and the beds comfortable. The pool is big and CLEAN. The view from the dining area is spectacular. Lunch... More

Coroico is a pleasant though somewhat unexciting tourist location. There are some decent things around and we found the coca fields' tour interesting. This is the only hotel we encountered in Peru & Bolivia to charge for internet access, which turned out to be weak and ineffective. The front desk man refused to restart the connection for us - most... More

We arrived in Coroico 4 days after entering La Paz. The town is quite a contrast from the busyness and chaotic quality of Bolivia’s high capital. The views experienced along the road are incredible, but the views from the dining room and patio are even more extraordinary, though we repeatedly had heavy fog over the mountains. We stayed two nights,... More

My wife and I have stayed at the Viejo Molino two times and we look forward to staying there each time we go to Bolivia. This is an incredible trip of adventure and contradictions. To get to the Viejo Molino you will first arrive at La Paz, Bolivia which is located at an altitude of 12600 feet. If you have... More
