This Inn is a historic building set on the ocean front on Quadra Island. Wonderful staff, pet friendly, relaxed pub, fabulous food and great prices for the rooms. Can book the whole hotel for an event such as a party or wedding. Funky gift shop, camp site on the water and so much to explore. Food somewhat pricey but fabulous... More

We stayed in the cabins at the back of the property by the road and they did the job. They were not dirty but not overly clean. They were worn but not worn out.Dated but not trashy. They had a full kitchen and bbq on the deck etc. We stayed for one night to go to a music event and dinner and we... My friend and I stayed at the HBI on a wildlife-and-hiking trip to Quadra Island, a package including two nights' stay and a day-trip wildlife tour. The hotel did not provide breakfast in the package, and the prices in the attached restaurant are silly. In general the hotel is fun and funky, in a gorgeous setting, but it needs refurbishment--the... More

Who knew that tucked away on a quiet corner of Quadra was a restaurant of this quality. We had the Halibut and the boullibaise and it was the best we have ever had. The presentation was a "wow" We are well travelled folks and are foodies, so this is a destination we will come back to. More

We went with a group to do some hiking in the area. The lodge rooms were very small with no place to put your clothes. They were also over a pub and were quite noisy. The cabin we had was better and had 2 bedrooms but only one very small bathroom. There was no mirror anywhere but in the bathroom,... More

We had an opportunity to visit this Inn on the harbor inlet and found it enchanting. Excellent food on the outside veranda, friendly courteous staff. View and scenery is right out of a travel guide. Many visitors from many countries provide much cultural diversity while enjoying their food there. Older building magnificently preserved with delightful gift/curio shop inside and indoor bar... We stayed at the RV park beside the Inn - it was like staying in a parking lot. The spaces were so small. Some were so narrow you could not have even got a trailer between the concrete slabs. The park had good services, just lack of space. I would cheerfully have paid more for a bit bigger spaces with... More

The rooms are about equal to a very basic low cost motel, don't expect much and you won't be disappointed. The location is good right on the Bay. The restauant is pretty good, it was great to sit outside on the deck in the late afternoon and enjoy a meal. The staff was very friendly and helpful. More
