Old, tired, "rustic" B&B with no amenities such as even soap! Awful breakfast, 1 overdone baked egg, croissant, and a very tiny serving of plain fruit. Coffee poor and bitter - like Starbucks on steroids! No welcoming attitude or smile - don't go!!

The only difference with our own experience is that we decided not to stay there after we saw the conditions. The owner considers appropriate to charge $125 per night for that nightmare! After we did not stay and therefore did not use her B&B services she decided to charge our credit card anyways by $95! That would be the highest...

My husband and I stayed at La Berengerie for one night this long weekend. We were open to stay for the second night if we were happy with the place which obviously was not the case.
