We really enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend it. Over a 25 day touring vacation we stayed in all kinds of hotels and motels and have to say that this was one that was on the basic side. However don’t let this put you off in anyway, the room was clean and well equipped and was really good value... More

This motel was a key part of a week long, mixed-accommodation trip to Waterton Lakes National Park in 2010. Yes, it is a budget motel, but it is clean, and the staff are helpful and friendly. A perfect crash pad after spending any amount of time in the back country. If you are looking for a way to balance your... More

cute 50's 60's motel - clean small, but all the needed comforts - we found it quite charming with such a friendly staff and the best value in Waterton - great location to the small town we walked to the restaurants and the boat launch for a great trip down the lake - we would stay there again - it... Nice clean place. We stayed in room 2 with two bedrooms. Described as small and clean and it definitely was that. Nothing fancy with this place but the room rate reflects the basic in comfort that this motel supplies. The bathroom was nice with a tiled shower and we had no problems with the water. As the night was cool... More

Right when we drove into the property, we knew it would be good. Friendly staff that proudly displays their Trip Advisor rating. Rooms were small, but we knew that going in. All I need is a comfortable bed and a private bath. Rooms were decorated cute and there is a little seating area out front. A BBQ, microwave, and ice... More

We've been staying there for the last twenty years. A great location in a wonderful National Park. The current owners have done a great job with very good beds, nice quilts. Excellent value and very friendly staff. The park is spectacular and although quite busy in summer is a great place to be in September. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate... More

My sister and I recently took a little vacation up to Waterton Park and we ended up staying at the Bear Mountain Motel. We are both students on a budget, but we wanted the stay to be special, so we decided to "splash out" by staying in the park itself. We were pleasantly surpirsed at the reasonable price of the... The management acknowledges up front that this is not a luxury hotel. The rooms are small with cinder block walls. The bathroom is small with a shower and no tub. Internet access is hit or miss. I could not connect in my room even though I showed a signal, but could connect when I set up in the lobby. It... More

I've stayed in many Super 8's and motel 6's, so my expectations aren't very high, but the problem is that there are only a few concrete block walls, the rest is plywood and paneling. You WILL hear everything from the next room. So if you put in long hours hiking the trails and need a good night's sleep, look elsewhere.... More

This is an older and smaller motel. We were two couples and had room 34 which was 2 bedrooms, sitting area with full kitchen and bath. Everything was clean and worked properly. The owner and staff are not only helpful but very friendly. Free coffee, hot chocolate and tea all day. Everything in town is walking distance. Great beds and... More
