Recently in the Snowy Mountains decided to treat myself to a massage and mini facial at the Lake Crackenback resort & spa. We were staying with family close by and my husband was hoping to go for a ski so I thought I could hang out at the spa for the morning. On driving into the resort there is no... More

Hi Followers Stayed here in March on a long weekend with family. Have a lovely time Mt Bike riding around the the adjacent land. The lake, although small - very small, is none the less lovely. Spent some time on duckduckgo looking up the names of several species of ducks on the lake. Accommodation was over the water - nothing... More

Stayed 3 nights in a 1 bedroom apartment for a total cost of $430 due to a 'Stay 3 nights for the price of 2' special. Basically a 2 storey townhouse with cooking facilities, fire place, ducted air for extra warmth. Bedroom upstairs with ensuite and rest of floor is an open area with 2 further single beds. Plenty of... More

We stayed here for two nights for my partners birthday weekend. Absolutely loved it! Superb location with such fantastic views. My advice would be to go for the studio chalets over the standard resort rooms. We stayed in platinum studio 2 Little Thredbo Lane which had spectacular mountain views. Accommodation had great heating, garage although the remote didn't work, log... More

My partner and I had driven through once before and thought it might be a nice place to stay 'some day'. We had reason to book in for a week-end as we had been invited to a function held at the 'Cuisine' restaurant. We are so happy that the invite forced our hand to go earlier rather than later. Now... We had a fantastic weekend away at this resort, there is plenty to do and the grounds are breathtakingly beautiful and expansive. We saw kangaroos, deer and an abundance of birds. We went canoeing on the lake and took a drive out to the Yarrangobilly Caves (highly reccommend) where we swam in the thermal pool. We were put in a... More

Just returned from this resort and wish I was still sitting in that apartment overlooking the tranquil lake. # 48 is a three bedroom, two level apartment (only shares one common wall) on the lake with the living room sitting right above the water. You feel that you are almost in a house boat but without the motion! There is... More

Our second stay at this great location. Lovely, but beware - you may need to pay for the wood for your lounge-room fire. We had to ($25/bag) and were refused a refund on an unused bag. Great breakfasts. Many of our group enjoyed their 'extreme' Segway off-road tour.

We had a lovely quiet and relaxing 2 days at Lake Crackenback Resort and Spa. Mind you, I am not sure that this is what the Resort would like me to say, as it is set up for plenty of activity – golf, kayaks, Segways, mountain bikes, gym, spa, pool and much more, including a shuttle bus to the Ski...
