Great value for price, food, location, friendly staff, fabulous breakfast, fabulous rooms This is a Tudor building, we think that that is great ,right on the river with a lovely walk to the center of town Only negative is that wi fi iwas sketchy in the rooms for us, we needed to go to lobby for a good connection More

This hotel is well situated and is in an excellent location for all of Cambridge’s main attractions. There is plenty of free parking. We were placed in the coach house adjacent from the main hotel. The rooms was very compact but clean and had all the usual amenities found in a 3 star hotel. However our room was next to... More

The hotel is well located opposite Jesus Green, but on a main road. The staff were very helpful and the public areas, including restaurant, and conservatory were quite pleasant. As the hotel was nearly full, we were given a superior double room in the coach house at the rear of the hotel. It looked like a large shed or barn.... More

We stayed at the Arundel hotel for graduation weekend. Public areas, including restaurant, and breakfast rooms are very pleasant. If hotel is full, don't wait to be seated in the standard restaurant, take food out to their other rooms. They have rooms it two buildings, while the main building is convenient and has the river view, I would recommend the... More

This hotel is wonderfully located, but lacks the polish that would place it on the 'tired and trusted favourites' list. My single room was at the top of the stairs and the amount of traffic at night was substantial. Some kindly reveller returned to his room at 2.45am - how did I know the exact time? The soundproofing or lack... More

We stayed here for one night whilst visiting our son in Cambridge. I managed to get a room a week before we planned the visit, most of the hotels in the town centre were already full. We were given a superior room in the coach house at the rear of the hotel. The room was a little dated but quite... More

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel which has lovely views across the common and is near to the city and river etc for hiring punts. The hotel looks like it has been made from the purchasing of houses along the street to make one long hotel and the decor was tired and it seemed old fashioned having blankets, but... More

We stayed for a weekend and had a dingy room in the Coach House block. There were cobwebs on the ceiling and 40 watt bulbs in the very indequate table lamps. Haven't seen beds with blankets in hotels for years but they were here, looking slightly tired and worn. The buffet breakfast was just about edible but the toaster did... More

I had a lovely sized room with a massive bathroom, including a rather lovely bath. Everything was very clean and nice. The reception staff were very friendly. I had dinner in the hotel and I would really recommend it, the food was excellent as was the service. Breakfast was OK, small continental buffet, though you had to order hot food... More
