It is a good value for money if you are not a demanding traveller. As a whole it is very dated. There is a 4-car parking area just outside. The city center is 30' walk. We didn't eat breakfast (additionally charged). Positive things are the efficient heating and the free wi-fi.

We come to Cambridge every 2 years and always stay here. Costa and Simone always welcome us. The full English breakfast is a great start to the day. We have never found parking to be a problem and the walk into town takes about 15 minutes, or the bus right outside gets you straight down to the city centre. We... More

My daughter and I arrived for a one night stay as she had an early morning interview. Upon arrival we had to pay, 75.00 and were given keys for the room. The carpets were worn, there were freshly filled holes in the walls in need of sanding and painting. The bed was bumpy and uncomfortable. There was a sink in... More

My daughter and I arrived at B+B and had trouble parking as it is situated right behind a bus stop, on a busy main road, so people had to move out of queue for us to get onto forecourt. Upon getting key to our room number 11 I was surprised at how small the ensuite was. Toilet seat swerved to... More

Whilst the room was warm and clean the shower/loo was tiny, no bigger than converted wardrobe. All carpets and soft furnishings worn out and in need of refurbishing. Stuck in the 70's. Breakfast was ok and the room was at the back so it was quiet.

This hotel is a little out of the centre of Cambridge but is ideally situated for anyone who doesn't necessarly want to stay in the centre. Bus number 3 runs from the City Centre and the Railway station. The room I was allocated was a good size for one person with a good shower. I particularly noticed the excellent quality... More

We received a warm welcome after a long trip. The rooms were clean, tidy and spacious. Tea/coffee making facilities. Tv/dvd in room. Free wifi in the rooms although signal is weak at the rear of the building. However there is a standalone PC for guests free use that is available. The breakfast was a full english with cereals, yoghurts and... More

The room was tidy and clean, but bathroom was poor and small. The curtains were too bad, we woke up at 4:30am with the light. When we arrived the girl that came to check us in had just woken up in the mid-afternoon and we could hardly understand her babbling instructions. It was advertised as having 'free-parking' but when we... More

We stayed in room 4 which was clean and the bed relatively comforable but when I opened what I thought was the wardrobe it was in fact the ensuite! It was so tiny, smelly and very much in need of refitting. The toilet seat was broken and when you sat on the toilet you had to shuffle towards the wall... More

Myself and my partner just arrived home from our two night stay here, on arrival we had a 10 minute wait to be let inside as no one was around to answer the door bell. When we were finally greeted by a young man there was a big lack of communication as his english was not to the standard needed.... More
