My second visit to Railway Lodge. Once again it was a pleasure. Clean and with extremely comfortable beds and nice bed linen. Excellent breakfast, cooked to order and nicely served.
Nice place and very nice people!

I stayed here for 1 night and chose it due to its close proximity to the railway station (5 minute walk). I found this B&B to be clean, comfortable and the staff polite and helpful. I was put in the front room beside the main entrance and close to the street. I suspected this might result in a noisy experience...

I would highly recommend this guest house. The owners are very welcoming ; location is ideal and everything is clean, yes the rooms/bathrooms are small but far more important the beds are particularly comfortable . Breakfast are generous .
One small recommendation to the owners to tell the guests to have a curfew for television viewing after say 22.00. and...

We rented two rooms at the Railroad Lodge when we were in town for the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols. We thought the rooms were comfortable, and the short walk from the train station convenient. It was a short taxi ride to the city centre. Anthony is an excellent host. He recommended a few restaurants a short walk away,...

We were only in Cambridge for one night and this B&B was perfect for us. We arrived on the train and it was just a short walk away from the station. It was a 15-20 minute walk into the town.
The en-suite room was absolutely fine, very clean and comfortable (although a bit too warm!). Breakfast was lovely and included...

You can have all the cathedrals and monuments in the world, but it's the people that make places, and this place was no exception, with a very polite, helpful and personable host. Food quality was excellent, and the room clean and comfortable. Probably the best value for money that we have come across on a seven-week tour of Europe and...

After attending a wedding in Sleaford (23rd), we were at a loose end as to how our time would be occupied, before I myself had to return to Inverness (27th), so as my husband had arranged to go to the annual folk festival (28th), we decided on Cambridge. Nowhere booked so pot luck is the order of the day. Try...

We found the owner Tony and his wife Monica very friendly and did they did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. Nothing like a friendly welcoming face when you knock on their door. The room was comfortable with all the facilities one requires of a modern B&b establishment and the breakfast was chosen from a menu card on...
