I stayed here for one night (thank goodness). When I arrived they were having the front entrance floor relayed so I was escourted around the side and through the kitchen to my room. I had the tiniest single room I've ever stayed in and when I asked if there was another room available I was told they were already taken....

I booked this hotel via a booking website, and was asked to give an estimnated time of arrival "for guidance purposes only." I put this down as 10pm, but was delayed and arrived at 10.40pm. The hotel was locked up and I had to ring the bell several times for admittance. When the owner appeared he said very aggressively that...

A warm welcome, went to the room and it was cold, room tidy and clean. Woke up in morning room was freezing, even though on their websit it said manual control for heating. Shower was rubbish, either it was too hot or too cold nothing in the middle. Breakfast was brilliant. Overall it was ok.

My mother (aged 77) and I were booked into a twin room for 2 nights. We were put in a room up 2 flights of narrow stairs and into a room in an attic. It was very basic and the paper was coming away from the wall. In the bathroom the carpet was stained and the paint was falling off...

Booked the Broadmead in Feb this year as its 5 minutes from the Rugby Ground. I was a bit worried about some of the reviews but on arrival met the Owner who was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable, the O/S bathroom soaps and bubble bath made it that much more special. We went out...

Spent two nights on a short semi business/leisure trip. I found the hotel totally filled my needs, and was made very welcome by a friendly and considerate owner, my room was very well fitted out, and the breakfast could not be faulted.
I hope to visit another time.

Stayed one night in a first floor double and upped floor twin. Double was grubby, mattress was one of three worst ever - based on over 1000 nights of hotel stays, so that is impressive (impressively bad).
At 7:45 AM fire alarm went off and woke everyone in hotel - our early morning breakfast wake up call?
I would recommend...

The Broadmead is definitely NOT a hotel, but it IS a nice Guest House. The room was clean, but with a miss match of furniture, and in some area's it needed introduction to the 21st century. Room comforts / facilities (tea making, toiletries etc) are very good indeed, much better than one would get in accommodation rated much higher.
The...

Having been telephoned and asked in a rude fashion to provide a first night deposit (£74), I expected much more than was on offer. The room, although spacious, and overlooking a small park, was in need of redecoration and the bathroom was old fashioned. The shower screen was so old that the rubber fixing at the bottom had become weak...
