Having read previous reviews our experience was far from dissapointing. Great location to start with. Nice warm welcom on arrival and very helpful reception. Six of us in six rooms on a great deal. Room was large and clean and appointed as a Travelodge should be. Some had wonderful sea views some looked over Main Street others in courtyard area... More

As far as newquay goes this hotel is in an excellent location but it ends there. The hotel is situated next to a road and the noise coupled with the stag groups can be intolerable. At 04:00 hrs music on from an adjacent room and woke me up ! The rooms do not have phones so if you need reception... More

We had booked a twin but actually it was a room with a double and a sort of bed on a bench which my husband had to sleep on as the double was so tiny we couldnt share. The bench bed wasnt very clean either. Bathroom was tiny, dark, and a bit grim and like someone else has said you... More

Booked two days in the Travelodge in the centre of Newquay, been to Newquay a few times so thought we,d use this Travelodge as its central to everything.First impression was that the car parking was non-existant,the receptionist did guide us to the car park opposite(next to police stn),not too faraway but £9.90 for 24 hours is a bit expensive!!! If you... More

I have just got back from 3 days staying at Newquay seafront Travelodge on their £19 rooms offer. I found the rooms basic but clean & comfortable. It was very quiet but I assume it would still have the same level of cleanliness at peak season. It is in an ideal location, far away enough from the main area but... More

Hotel was booked ages before we travelled so rooms were cheap, hotel is in a nice central location, parking on the police/train station over the road was 24 hours for £9.90 worth the price for being outside the police station, room was clean and comfortable, Newquay a bit rougher than i remember but still had an amazing time

Front desk reception was an interruption of his television time, but was done efficiently enough. On reaching the room it was cold, unwelcoming, the heating had not been switched on. The room was very draughty, this was traced to windows that did not seal properly, this was solved by packing towels into the frame. Our request for an additional duvet... More

Hotel has an excellent location, we checked in,our room wasn't clean, sick on the windows, cigarette butts down the sides of the bed and sofa-not good especially when you have 2 children with you, we asked to change rooms, were told hotel was full and couldn't. Tv didn't work. Very noisy if you're on roadside, no air on so have to suffer... More

At £19pppn this place is an absolute bargain for a big group of guys/girls looking to keep the cost down. Staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms are exactly what you would expect from a travelodge. I would agree with an earlier poster that the bed is disappointing. I guess you get what you pay for but the mattress... More

Having read some of the recent negative reviews, it was difficult to believe that we were staying in hotel. We have stayed here twice this year and on both occasions found the staff both friendly and helpful; they responded to all our requests, e.g. for extra pillows, room with sea view, local knowledge, etc. The hotel is well placed -...
