Arriving lon a rainy Monday afternoon, this was a godsend as many other guesthouses were closed for the season. Dave, the owner, is extremely friendly and cooks a bloody good breakfast! It is quiet and close to the centre of Newquay. Good prices. Highly recommended. You cannot go wrong! We'll be back definitely! Clavel More

After arriving over an hour early we were greeted by the owners who couldn't do enough to help. Our room (room 5) was beautifully decorated, very clean bathroom and very quiet. Would absolutely return to this hotel. More

After arriving at newquay we eventually found this B&B on a side road. The owner was very friendly when we asked prices etc for a two night stay. He said we could have the back room but on knowing we was on honeymoon he let us have the family room and no extra cost. The room was immaculate and the... More

This b& b was in a great location just off the main street, but quiet, very friendly and welcoming owners, nice breakfast with good selection. We were in the room downstairs out the back so had our own entrance, small but clean and all we needed for our o/night stay. Off street parking...this stay was great. More

We stayed in the guest house for 3 nights and could not of had a better b&b. The staff were really friendly and very welcoming. The room was slightly on the small side but was good for me and my partner. The rooms were very clean so was the rest of the place. The location waas perfect a walk to... More

Great location and friendly owners. The owners were very accomodating for our parties needs (changing the dining room around to cater for us all to be seated together). We was in the room "out the back" which was small but very comfortable and was decorated to a high standard. Lovely breakfast. For a cheap break away I would definately recommend... More

We (myself and wife, both early 30's) have just got back from a three night stay at the Holmwood. Where do I start? The owners are very friendly, the rates very good, the rooms very clean and breakfast is great! The guest house is easy to find and has off road safe parking at the rear for four cars. Dave... More

Stayed here for three nights over the May Day Bank holiday weekend. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated whilst the ensuite bathroom was spotless. The breakfast was fab - full works everday - cereal, toast, juices and full English Breakfast - good job they don't weigh you at the Airport on the way back. Ha ha. The hosts... More

After having searched many other B&Bs in Newquay -all of them were full- we finally booked with Holmwood Guest House. We did not expect much from it and were rather pleasantly surprised because of the good standing of the place. Our room was very small (twin room on last floor), but as we only stayed one night, it was fine.... More
