To our surprise and delight, the Longships Hotel was terrific. the rooms were very clean and comfortable, the food superb, as was the service. Our hosts... More

No lift in hotel, steep stairs, I was right at the top of the hotel, yes the room... More

I am a coach driver and stay in different hotels every week. This report is a collective opinion from 27 people, 26 passengers and myself. We stayed at the Longships Hotel between the 17th and 24th September 2011 for dinner bed and breakfast. The Longships is a family run hotel and the family are justifiably proud of their achievements. We stayed here 2 years ago and enjoyed it. Olive is lovely, Clive is Clive !!!! We came back again this time and everything was just the same. We enjoyed it and would come back again. The prices are very reasonable, especially at this time of year. Thanks Olive & Clive More

I hated this place although they do have some people that return year after year. Our room was small, stuffy and the bathroom was a joke. The carpark is tiny and they like to take your keys so they can shunt your car around to get others out.Breakfast was very rushed which is just what you want on your holidays. We did not... More

Steep roads to get almost anywhere which of course is not suitable for everyone _ but that is St. Ives !!!!!! (good exercise ) More
