Great hotel. Service, food and rooms were really great. In the perfect position for the sea front, shops and walks. The view is wonderful. All this and only a 2 minate walk from the train station.

On arrival at the hotel, you have to offload your luggage and then take your car with a free parking permit (given to you by the hotel) and park it in the reserved bays at the train station. This was a little misleading as I was led to believe the parking was on-site, but it didn't matter as we left...

We live in Cornwall but were going to a concert in The Guildhall as part of the September Festival so thought it would be more relaxing to stay the night. As we had a short distance to travel we arrived before the room was ready but Keith gave us the parking permit for the railway station car park and we...

The room was in tip top condition with a fantastic view over the harbour and bay. The owners Keith and Sandi couldn't have been more welcoming. Plenty of choice for breakfast and all good tasty fayre.. it is definately our first choice of hotel when heading for St Ives

We hadn't booked, it was half term and St Ives was full - so a lovely receptionist at a different (and prettier) hotel suggested The Regent. I was concerned because wasn't fully booked - and because when we got there, the front was really not hugely prepossessing. However we had in fact landed on our feet.
The welcome was friendly,...

We stayed at the Regent Hotel, St Ives for one night as part of a weekend trip from London to West Cornwall. The hotel was right next to St Ives bus station. We didn't have a car and used the buses a lot. So the hotel's location was an excellent bonus. The central area of shops and beaches were less...

We were very lucky with the February weather in our travel to St. Ives; no rain but once. This hotel sits up on a hill in a very good location, a short walk to the downtown area. The hotel itself was clean and the rooms were comfortable and had great views of the ocean, bay and city. The owners, Sandy...

We arrived in St Ives late on a road trip and we were searching on foot for a place to stay. We got the last room in the Regent, which was actually a single, but we squished in. The room was a little dated, but extremely comfortable, and the views more than made up for the decor. The owners were...

I was evacuated to St Ives 72 years ago. Returned for first time this year.
Found the town had hardly changed all this time.
Had a long journey from Kent - but it was worth it.
Will return again in September and will certainly stay at The Regent, I would recommend
to anyone.

I have stayed in St Ives on holiday and on business dozens of times in a variety of accommodation; from the smartest hotels to more modest B&Bs and self catering. The Regent has been a real find. Unprepossessing from the outside, don't let that fool you. This small hotel is incredibly well run and maintained. The rooms are spotless, beds...
