Fantastic location, fantastic staff, fantastic food. We stayed for 2 nights on the 12th & 13th of May just gone, the weather was fantastic which of course helped, but I guess that even during bad weather the Port William Inn would still be a fantastic place to stay. We go away regularly around the country for mini breaks and to... More

I recently spent the whole weekend at the Port William Inn for my surprise 40th birthday. I could not fault anything at all I had the best weekend of my life thanks to my friends/family but also to the staff and the location of this most stunningly beautiful pub. The food was amazing and plentiful, the location and sunset breathtaking... More

Took my family here for lunch, I ordered 3 sirloin steaks and a gammon steak. Steaks were ordered rare and 2 mediums. after quite a wait the steaks came out all well done and burnt on the edges. I told the waiter and they offered to change. We changed only one as we were very hungry. The chips were also... More

We've stayed here several times over the years, always drawn back by the location. There aren't many places with such a gorgeous view over a lovely beach, while at full tide you can smell the sea spray from your bedroom window. The rooms are clean, fresh and inviting. One tip -- if you want a direct vew of the sea,... More

We stayed for just one night, partly because, at £90 per night, it is rather pricey. However, the location is stunning and place is very popular with locals and holidaymakers. The service is friendly and eeficient and the food is good, the portions are mega! The ale is also very good. The walk to tintagel is an ideal way of... More

Have just returned from a 2 night break at the Port William Inn. When booking we were looking for a comfortable place to stay with views of the sea. The Port William certainly met our expectations. The views are simply breathtaking waves crashing over the rugged coastline turning to a lovely stretch of sand when the tide goes out. Are... More

We have visited Port William many times over the past few years for meals and drinks, and we have never been disappointed. Sitting in the conservatory out the front, watching the world go by, especially on a warm day, is a must. The food is served superbly and is delicious. The choice on the menu is excellent. One of my... More

We added an extra day to our week in Cornwall and stayed at the Port William. Exceptionally helpful staff, a lovely room with a view over the bay ( as all 8 rooms have) at a steal of a price. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well presented. The bathroom was a good size and well equiped with toiletries. Breakfast... More
