We have stayed here before, en route to Cornwall and have been satisfied with service, food and accommodation. Sadly the hotel is badly let down by the restaurant as we found to our cost this time. The evening meal was best described as awful, food cold, steak was almost inedible only saved by the chips. We thought breakfast could not... More

Very nice hotel and room. Totally not what was expected! This hotel exceeded our expectations as we thought it would be noisy from the road as in the busy city of Exeter but it was unusually quiet! The food in the restaurant part was lovely. The only downside was being Woken up by doors slamming around 5am which we weren't... More

Was very disappointed by this Premier Inn having stayed in many very pleasant ones before. Firstly the design of the hotel is very odd, looking like the motel from the film "Psycho" and the room was the smallest Premier Inn room I've used. The television in it was an old tube television which barely worked and the room needed a... More

I stayed here for one night as part of a business trip. I took out the meal deal which proved to be excellent value, limited menu for this option but covered most tastes. Three course dinner and all you can eat breakfast for £22. I enjoy Premier Inn because I like a bath, some competition only provide shower, I also... More

We came here for lunch, it took ages, the food was poor, the service non existent and no apology was offered. I have been to other Premier Inns and they have been excellent, but not this one, avoid! More

This is an ideal place to stop for a much needed overnight break and a quiet night's sleep. The food and service was excellent and the dinner was first class as was the selection of wine by the glass available at the meal. The breakfast was also good and freshly cooked and plenty of it. Overall, a good budget hotel... More

Stayed here on business, its an older hotel, but located in easy reach of all major traffic routes. Friendly greeting and prompt efficient service. Very good Beefeater next door, again with quick service. Slightly disappointed with the cooked breakfast but overall very good. More

Four of us went here for a leaving lunch - good menu but the questions just to get a burger were a pain - did you want this sauce that sauce these chips those chips?? When the food came the salad 'garnish' was limp and obviously old. The burger, if thrown, would have done damage - it was overcooked and... More

Stayed one night with spouse and a friend in order to attend a choral singing workshop in Exeter. We have stayed in several other Premier Inns so knew what to expect and were very pleased to find the standard of cleanliness, efficiency and friendliness of staff and quietness of the room beyond criticism. We were pleasantly surprised by the comfort... More

Stayed here for 4 nights while attending a training course in Exeter. It’s the standard Premier Inn affair really. I choose to stay in them for both business and pleasure as you know what you’re getting and I’ve never had a bad Premier Inn yet. This was no exception. The room was large, comfortable and spotless which is basically everything... More
