No complaints at all. We stayed in a family room (4 people) which was very clean and comfortable. Owners very friendly and helpful and good quality breakfast too. You are 2 minutes from the centre of Lynton and the cliff railway to Lynmouth is just down the road.

Rockvale is a very pleasant place to stay, hosts extremely friendly, food excelent and plentyful, accomodation roomy , comfortable, light and airy. Altogether a guest house to be reccommended.Evening meals are a bonus especially when you have been our walking all day(prices are very competitve with local reatauants)

Delightful place. Slept like a log both nights and enjoyed a nice hot soak in the large bath. Breakfast was super, homemade lemon curd was a treat (hens on site) and we left with a jar of that! Great choice of food, and the option of a packed lunch came in handy for a long walk ahead.

This was the second time we have stayed in Rockvale and, as before, standards were excellent. Alwyn and Heather were welcoming and as helpful as ever. We had a lovely time and would certainly stay here again.

Rockvale was everything we look for in a hotel - characterful with spacious, comfortable rooms, spotlessly clean and very kind, friendly and helpful owners. The real fire was a lovely touch and the breakfast was just wonderful - the best poached eggs I have every had.
