After 6 years of ownership this ideally placed b & b would benefit from a little tlc. The bedding was spotless however the ensuite had mould and something nasty growing in the waste of the wash hand basin. Skirtings are scuffed and dirty and the bed side cabinets were not clean. The radiator cover under the window was loose and... More

As frequent visitors to Plymouth my wife and I have regular places to stay, however on the nights that we stayed at Four Seasons, we were unable to stay at our regular haunts so booked into the Four Seasons. We were not disappointed and I would have no hesitation in recommending the Four Season to other travellers. There is no... More

I have been visiting Plymouth one or two times a year for business for a number of years. It’s a long trip from the other side of the world, and each visit is at least two weeks duration, so having quality, reliable, affordable accommodation is a must. The Four Seasons Guest House has become my home away from home. Kate... More

We arrived at around 8pm and struggled to squeeze our car into 3/4 of a space left by a couple of inconsiderate motorists. The location of the guest house is good (being walking distance from a wide range of restaurants and shops) but car parking can be a problem. Our room was small and clean but getting to the point... Stayed in this guest house for a couple of nights in November 2012. The owners really can't do enough for you!! The rooms and all of the shared areas are always lovely and clean. The tea, coffee, hot chocolate and bottled water was always re-stocked (and how nice to have bottled water in the room). Would definetly recommend this to... More

Stayed here during a family holiday, and it was great. We were here for 3 nights. The owners were very friendly and very helpful, happily suggesting places to go and things to do, as well as making sure that the rooms were comfortable - which they were. The breakfast menu was very surprising, lots of options, and lots for veggies.... More

Really fantastic. Really nice welcome. Warm room but not too stuffy. Shower brilliant. Very clean room and not flowery! Breakfast without a tv in sight and classic fm on quietly. Lovely food and a big variety on the menu. Chocolates by the front door and geraniums on the windowsills. Very quiet but very central. The other guests had all stayed... More

Kate, Bob & Rosie the labradoodle are very friendly. We had bedroom at front with ensuite which was very comfy and always smelled SO fresh. Assorted teas and coffee plus bottled water and digestive biscuits replenished daily in our room. The breakfast was amazing - all locally sourced and SO tasty. Access to rooms at any time of the day.... More

Stayed for two nights over the Fireworks so Plymouth very busy...had cosy double room with separate private facilities. Quiet but very handy location - walking distance to Hoe, shops, harbour etc. Parking not easy as so busy but £2 day permit good value . Excellent breakfast choice and quality with friendly and efficient service - certainly all we needed and... More
