Having stayed at the hotel on a regular basis over the last 12 months I can honestly say that the overall improvement is a joy to behold! I regularly stay at hotels all over the world and the Boringdon is up there with any and all others in terms of quality, price and overall 'away from home' experience. Quite simply,... More

My wife and I have just returned from an excellent weekend at Boringdon Hall. We were joined by my wife’s mother who was celebrating her birthday. Boringdon Hall is a splendid building and the private owners have spent a considerable amount of money upgrading the facilities. The traditional rooms in the main building are very welcoming and there are plenty... More

I often stay on Plymouth on business, I have no control over where I stay because its booked by the office. Over the 4/5 years they often placed me in Boringdon because it was relatively cheap. Although it was run down, I didnt mind because it was a nice building with plenty of parking. However in the last year the... More

Our second visit, the first was a pleasent enough experiance, although the room was a bit strange due to shape and fittings, we put this own to character and had a good stay. The second is the last time, it was my wifes birthday so as we were going to be in Cornwall the day after we booked the hall... More

My wife and I recently stayed 5 nights at Boringdon Hall. It was a great experience to stay in a restored Tudor mansion - just like living in a National Trust property! It has great atmosphere, the Gallery restaurant giving a good view over the main hall. The food, especially breakfast, was excellent. Our room in the Courtyard was modern,... More

We decided upon a long weekend to enjoy Dartmoor Zoo with friends. Arriving at an old, impressive frontage has a wow factor. We'd been allocated two of the very nice newer rooms but asked if it were possible to swap to an older room - not a problem. We'd had a long day and decided to eat dinner in the... More
