After looking on the internet for a hotel we decided on the Kelvin House Hotel. I'm glad we did! Everything about the place was spot on. The location is ideal - only 10 minutes walk to the gardens and sea front. The hotel itself is very clean. I'd seen a couple of reviews who mentioned the size of the rooms.... More

Sharon and Carl run a very freindly hotel and nothing is to much trouble. Advised us to visit some lovely restaurants in the area. This is where local knowledge comes in handy. Rooms very clean and comfortable although on the small side. Contained shower,toilet and wash hand basin plus telly and tea making which was always topped up each morning.... More

very comfortable room, friendly hosts who made us very welcome, very clean accommodation, lovely breakfast, bar available when you wanted it, 15 min walk to centre of torquay, so nice decided to stay for an extra night. Used the balcony/patio at the front of the hotel which was an added bonus. More
