I stayed at the Allerdale while attending a conference in Torquay. The proximity of the Riviera center (conference venue) has to be its number one attraction. Also, for business users, free wifi throughout the hotel is a bonus that you perhaps wouldn't expect in what is otherwise quite a traditional seaside hotel. We stayed the weekend here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The lounge which overlooks the well kept gardens is beautiful with huge ceilings, grand windows and fireplaces all decorated to perfection.
