Had a very enjoyable week here at the end of June. The rooms were clean, the breakfasts were very good, and the host had a suitably dry sense of humour wich went down well with us. Really can't understand the previous criticism. Its handy for central Torquay and the station, which is exactly what we required.
Uncleansed room, dirty towels, extremely noisy at night. Owners were friendly and breakfasts were nice. Not for the faint hearted. Avoid at all costs.
This review has only just been brought to our attention - this same guest also posted a bad review on our own website and we utterly refute all her claims. For some reason, one half of this couple took against us the moment she walked in and despite our constant asking her whether all was well, whether she was satisfied...

This B+B was clean and very cheap, the breakfast was nice and the owners were pleasant, 10 minutes walk to the sea front, the room was cleaned every morning and you can come and go as you like, :) If you are on a tight budget this would be ideal,
