A family of 4 stayed for the weekend May 2013. A very warm and welcoming couple, we were made to feel welcome on arrival despite arriving very late. We had a lovely 4 day stay at the charterhouse staying in the Riviera room. Our hosts Marion & Les, couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Our large room was spotless with a large bathroom and a sea view. Breakfasts were wonderfully endless and full of homemade produce. We shall be back.

We had a great two nights at charter house ,brilliant we will gothere again ,Marion gave us good tips to go to eat all was great.good location to walk in to the town.breakfast was great home cooked food.

The Charterhouse is a great place to stay. Marion and Les are extremely welcoming and helpful - the restaurant suggestions for dinner were top notch. There is only one place to stay in Torquay and that is the Charterhouse. We spent 5 nights there last week and we had an amazing time. A warm, friendly welcome awaited us on arrival. There was tea, biscuits and great information provided by Les. The room was excellent, clean, airy and very comfortable with more than enough space for storage including a double wardrobe and drawers.
