We stayed just for one night last weekend, having read excellent reviews. Could not fault the hospitality, after a long drive from London, my family was given awarm welcome by the two lovely ladies. The tea/coffee and kitkats was really appreciated, and our rooms were cosy and a welcome sight for tired eyes. For the price paid having an ensuite... More

Having visited The Norwood on several occasions, we can fully recommend staying here. We are now regular visitors, thanks to the wonderful hospitality of Veronica, Tom and Mary, who provide an excellent service, and always do so with a smile. Located ideally for all that Torquay offers, The Norwood has extremely comfortable rooms with all that any visitor could wish... More

What a lovely hotel! Right from the start you are made to feel very welcome with a cup of tea and biscuit brought to your room after you arrive. The room was lovely with everything you need: towles, hair dryer, plenty tea and coffee and a lovley comfy bed! We dined there on the Friday evening and had a lovely... More

There are a profusion of hotels and guest houses in Torquay vying for tourist custom. After doing a bit of online research, I chose Norwood Guest House (through Venere.com). What a good choice that was! We were only there for two nights, but should we ever return to Torquay, our lodgings will again be Norwood. Its location is good, tariff... More

We have stayed at the Norwood on a number of occasions over the past four years, and will continue to do so. Mary, Tom and Veronica - our hosts - have always made us, and our dogs, so very welcome, even when we fell ill on one occasion and they looked after us. Their lovely dog, Fred, is equally welcoming,... More
