This beautiful victorian mansion is the perfect place to relax and feel welcome. The house is in the middle of a big garden where peacocks stroll lazily, very quiet and private, yet only a 5' ride from Dorchester. The rooms are spacious and ooze history, the breakfast excellent and the hospitality can hardly get any better. Very strongly suggested! More

We only stayed one night.The room was spacious,comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was very good and hospitality outstanding. The dining room was very spacious with beautiful orchids and views of the lovely gardens. The only very slight 'niggle ' was the size of the TV in the bedroom and availablity of channels ( caused by digitalisation) We will return More

My wife and I only spent one night on the way to the ferry in Weymouth. If only we could have stayed for longer. The rooms were charming and the whole place just oozed old world charm. All in all a wonderfully relaxing experience. Thoroughly recommended! More

I stayed with my sister for three nights and absolutely loved it. The rooms are beautifully furnished, exceptionally clean and unspoiled. The breakfasts were excellent and the setting wonderful.
