This is a family run hotel and very friendly. I wondered at first if I had come to the right place it was so nice and had to check to see that I was not paying massively for my one night stay. The room was nice, everything worked as it should, it was very clean and they had free wi-fi.... More

Our party booked 3 double rooms for a weekend stay. We were surprised to be expected to pay up front for our stay before seeing the rooms. The rooms were basic but relatively clean. Only went to the Purbeck Hotel to eat in their restaurant. Ordered 1/4 chicken and was served with 3 shrivelled up chicken legs that looked disgusting. What a dump, what a shambles. Our party of 8 booked for a weekend stay, we also booked their specialty "seafood platter" @ £49.50 for two persons for our evening meal.
