The location is very nice, in an old square in front of the old pier. Very central, two steps from the promenade. We had a room on the top floor. It was very small, with basic furniture and a very small shower. Only basic continental breakfast was available. For English breakfast we needed to go to another hotel nearby. We... More

Booked this last minute through laterooms.com, for a bargain price. Stayed for one night in a twin room with my sister, as I had a university interview and was travelling from Newcastle. It was evening when we arrived, and I can't complain with the service at all. A nice blonde lady quickly checked us in and we were directed to... More

We've just returned from an overnight stay at the Queensbury Hotel and cannot fault it. I had read the mixed reviews before we booked, so was a little anxious. However, our room (basic double) was spotless, the shower was fine and the bed was comfortable. I would agree that the pillows were very thin, but as I'd read a reviewer's... More

Booked though booking. Com. Was disgusted with the servis and having to climb 8 lots of stairs! Left as soon as we got our breath back, 20 mins but refused any money back! Never again. No manger seems to be ever on site to sort out your problems. This is not a hotel it's a guest house and a very... More

We booked via booking.com a couple of hours before we checked in, deciding to stay the night in Brighton at the last minute. We received a friendly greeting and had a large room with ensuite, very clean room with everything we required. The breakfast was basic but sufficient. For a one night stay absolutely spot on so would stay again.... More

Came down to brighton with a few lads for a football weekend. Needed to get a hotel to rest our heads and this was exactly what we wanted. Give you a key for the front door and you can come and go as you please! Not a hotel for families though and breakfast is toast or cereal so not a... More

Really terrible hotel. The plugs are dangerous as well, half hanging out. Really noisy at night and it was not made clear that the shower was in the room. The toilets were in a dreadful state, and my mum refused to have a bath there as the bath tub was so disgusting. I really think this hotel needs to be... More

This hotel is awful..... We stayed in a triple room. The bed was really uncomfortable, the ensuite was so small and the door didn't shut properly. The windows were filthy and some panes of glass are broken. The general cleanliness of the rooms was appaling with lots of cobwebs etc. This place should be shut down and redone. We didn't... More
