if you do not want breakfast and need a central place to stay in Rye, the Regent Motel is ideal. It's clean and tidy and provides tea and cofee making with biscuits as well as a hair dryer. We've used it when visiting friends in Rye as a group for the Ryefawkes weekend. Have to book early as it is... More

We stayed here for one night and found the accommodation very good for the price. The only problem we had was the noise from the main road. My tip would be ask for a room at the back otherwise a good stay. More

We stayed begin june in the Regent Motel in Rye. The location is excellent, and provides very precious parkings spaces. We were a bit worried, because we could only see a few spaces, but we did not have any problems. The hotel is very basic and outdated. No breakfast and nobody at the reception in the evening or once the... More

Stayed one night with my wife on Friday 2 July 2010. Travelled from London by train, via Ashford, after finishing work. Reception closes at 6pm but hotel confirmed by phone and email (very quick with replies) that it would be okay to pick-up keys at 7pm (and just to call if we would be arriving later and receptionist would stay... We stayed here a few years ago and returned just for a short visit. Rooms are clean and have tea and coffee making facilities and for £50 for a double room when we stayed is very good value for money ( a family room was only £65 at the time). On one of the main roads in Rye, you just... More

Stayed one night in this motel which does not offer food. Room was fine, clean, en suite and appropriate. Parking available. Staff were very helpful and polite. Would recommend for a budget stay. More
