We went to Bibury to have a few days to relax. We booked the accommodation at the last minute. so there were not much choices. I was a bit worried, but the experience at this B&B turn out to be better than I expected! The room was indeed small and not at all romantic, of course, but it was clean.... More

A warm welcome received when we arrived and the staff were all very pleasant. The bar area and dining rooms were a bit bland and the bedroom dated - although there was a modern, warm bathroom. We were in a converted barn across the car park with a beamed ceiling and a small window. The menu was average pub food,... More

We stayed at The Catherine Wheel for one night and had our evening meal and breakfast . Both meals were fabulous and our room in the converted barn opposite the bar was small but comfortable. Bathroom and room were extremely clean and modern. The only criticism if any was that there was no window in our room, only a skylight.... More

Delightful place, lovely room, very helpful, excellent food. Rooms in a separate restored barn building thus avoiding any possible bar noise, and with loads of unusual features. We will certainly go back. Particularly helpful when we experienced a problem with our car while staying there.

We came across this pub by accident whilst on holiday in the Cotswolds. We had a light lunch and then returned for Sunday lunch. At both times the food was excellent - one of the best Sunday lunches we have had and the service friendly and efficient. Would certainly recommend it. Our dog enjoyed it too!!

The village itself is beautiful and this pub is pleasant. Friendly staff allowed us to park in the pub car park whilst we had a look around the village and then we went in for a pint after our walk. Can't comment on the food as we didn't eat but the pub stocked all the usual drinks you'd expect and... More

Had drinks and dinner in the bar at the Catherine Wheel and the welcome, service and food were second to none. I was visiting a friend who now lives an enviable distance from the pub and they welcomed me and my dog with open arms. I had the braised shin of beef for my main and sticky toffee pudding for... We had a fantastic evening before my sons wedding on the 25th January. Jo, was great in advance by co-ordinating menus to pre order and the team in the pub were very helpful. Service was very efficient and everyone had a good time. Food was good basic pub food, not trying tobe clever, just what you want in a pub!... More

We stayed one night at Catherine Wheel in one of the larger rooms, was very pleased with the size of the room. Everything was spotless and of good quality. We were attending a party at hotel up the road and from what we heard £99 for our room was good value indeed, and from what I saw of the other... More

We booked a room for 2 nights at the Catherine Wheel to attend a wedding at a nearby venue. We thought £99 for a large room with en-suite a good price. The actual bedroom was spotless, nicely furnished albeit a little dated, and had a lovely spotless bathroom with good shower. The bedrooms are housed in a separate building opposite... More
