My first time staying in an ibis hotel. Room was very clean bar area and reception very clean. Staff friendly. The bed was so comfortable. The town centre was in walking distance. Going to isle wight festival port was 5 minutes away. Will definately stay again and would recommend.

A central location is advantageous for some, less so for others. First time stay in the IBIS budget Hotel and happy to say it was well above my expectations !! Had been apprehensive on my journey to the Hotel as its not an established chain but I will definitely be using IBIS again on my travels .

The hotel is located on the south side of the city in the university area, and its nearby bars and shops, and about 20 minutes walk from the Wedge venue and its nearby pubs. I stayed at this Ibis hotel after changing my travel arrangements at last minute I found that the standard of the hotel was excellent in every respect and all staff were friendly and polite. I enjoyed the added bonus of being able to have a hot meal in the evening without having to leave the hotel.

Stayed 4 nights on business. Check in problems meant hotel lost my reservation but this was sorted out rapidly Room small but adequate, bathroom less so a larger person might struggle to sit on the loo as the wall is close. Breakfast ok, evening meals rather nice but limited range

Good location, small but clean rooms. Ok if crashing for 1 or 2 nights. You get what you pay for with no frills thrown in. If your large in stature then you mught have issues with both the toilet and shower facilities. Would stay here again and would recommend.

Everything you need for a short stay in Portsmouth, the rooms are small, but but very clean, good facilities and the most comfortable bed i have slept in for a long time.
