Had a friendly welcome and a good nights sleep, breakfast was good. Did not use the self catering kitchen, so cannot comment. Cleanliness was okay.

Canterbury YHA Hostel is as dirty and filthy as the Dover hostel used to be. (fortunately it was closed last autumn).
There is greasy dirt everywhere.
