Stayed here in March 2013 in a lovely single room (room 2) with a nice view across the courtyard. The location is excellenct - it only takes five minutes to walk to the centre. yes, there are some rules of behaviour you are introduced to, but Liz is, nevertheless, very welcoming and helpful. Even when I had problems with my... More

Had a lovely comfortable stay for 2 nights. Lovely comfortable bed and very clean rooms and bathrooms/shower rooms, although rooms are not en suite there is plenty of choice of bathrooms or shower rooms, rooms also have wash hand basins. Liz is very welcoming, and cooks a lovely breakfast, 3 choices to choose from. Location is brilliant, near the centre... More

Stayed here in October 2011 as a base for exploring Kent. The guest house is nice, clean and with off street parking. Breakfast was nice and the bathroom was clean. We got the loft bedroom which is very spacious and one of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in. Its location means it is very easy to walk to... More

We stayed at St John's Court for 2 nights over a bank holiday weekend. My girlfriend is vegan but Liz (the host) cooked a delicious vegan 'full English' each morning, and even bought a carton of soya milk especially for us. The guest house is about 5 minutes from the main street in the town, but away from the bars... More

This B&B is perfectly situated in the centre of the town in a quiet street. The landlady was particularly helpful and telephoned me on my mobile to guide me to the B&B. She is a very friendly lady. Spotlessly clean and comfortable room. Good choice of breakfast which was delicious. Would highly recommend and will certainly stay again when next... More

Perfectly situated B&B in central Canterbury, walking distance to almost everything, yet not too noisy. Landlady very helpful and friendly, room decent size but bit cramped due to 2 beds in it and a bit dated and flouncy. No en suite, but quite a choice of bathrooms in the hallway and a basin in the bedroom. Great breakfast. Parking in... More

Despite some concern about certain reviews (porridge?!) my friend and I had the most lovely stay here. We had a lovely big room for us and could see the catherdral out of the window! The owner was very helpful and her wit made us smile. Location cannot be faulted and with parking included its a fabulous bonus. Breakfast was delicious... More

On arrival at the B&B, we made the mistake of entering via the courtyard that led to Mrs Rowe's own bungalow. She then gave us a severe telling off for not having the common sense to find out the official B&B entrance (not indicated by sign because there are students in town...) and she went on to lecture us about...
