The location is fabulous, almost next to the west Gate of the Cathedral. The owner goes out of his way to be helpful and I enjoyed the best scrambled eggs and toast anywhere on my trip. You truly get a sense of Canterbury life when you stay at the Sun Hotel.

Stay with my other half as a treat for her Birthday. Let just say she was impressed and very pleased with the surprise. It was pricy but worth every penny. The staff was great the room was great, the breakfast was great It was a perfect stay.

The manager let us check. in early which was helpful becuse we had a wedding to go too. The room was fantastic, first time in a four poster bed. The room was very clean and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks Sun hotel

The hotel is family run, the whole place is very clean with so much character. We had a great stay and we love Canterbury especially the breakfast was fantastic and lots. We wonder what Charles Dickens felt staying there all those years ago. Will definitely go back to the Sum hotel when we visit Canterbury.
