Great Hotel in Dover. Service was superb. Food at breakfast was very good. Room and bathroom outstanding. Decor very good. seems there has been a major refurbishment recently. Good position on the promenade with great views over the harbour

We had a family room booked for two nights. The room was spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. We were also lucky enough to have an ocean-side room and enjoyed 3 large windows overlooking the harbour. Lovely hotel across the road from the Dover beach and very close to the port and town centre aswell as the Dover Castle and beautiful white cliffs. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Rooms nice and clean and big.

Here is a Victorian Period sea coast hotel right on the beach just a few minutes walk from center of Dover and minutes walk to the Sea Cat which takes you to France. Dover tends not to get a good press so our expectations were not high for an overnight stay before getting the ferry. The hotel was comfortable enough but what stood out was the quality and friendliness of the staff. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was very enjoyable and the breakfast the following morning was also very good. Recommended

The best western advertises itself a a four star hotel and spa . Spa ....no ....just a gym sauna and a treatment room which you have to pay for ....no luxury relaxing in a jacuzzi or steam room because there isn't one .... The gym is always closed for refurb ....thought it had just opened .and of course no mention... More

We spent a long weekend at the hotel. Our room was spacious and had a view of the sea. The hotel is clean and friendly. On one evening we ate in the restaurant and the food and service were excellent. Breakfast was hot and there was no pressure to move on. We would certainly recommend this hotel.
