I would definitely recommended Cambridge villas, excellent location, really nice rooms and Tina who was running the B&B was really friendly and helpful. The B&B is located in the heart of Ambleside really close to all major attractions in Ambleside. Will definitely stay there again.

Lovely B&B - very amenable host and hostess - immaculately clean room and en-suite. Would definitely recommend No 2 Cambridge Villas. 100M from town center yet on a quiet road. Fantastic nearby restaurants and cinemas - hostess a great source of information.

Happy to report my family of 4, including 2 young boys, had a great stay at 2 Cambridge Villas. Bridget and Charlie gave us a warm welcome, excellent food and helpful service. They even dried our wet things after a soaking on the Fells! A pleasure to have the option to stay in central Ambleside with children in tow.

Just returned from a 2 night stay here. Pleasant enough room with beautifully tiled en suite (if a little narrow) Warm and cosy, plenty of hot water, efficient shower, large towels. Great location in the center of town, close to hiking paths and around the corner from the bus stop. and an excellant breakfast. Bridgett was a wonderful host and very helpful in providing brochures on hiling trails.
