We stayed at the Butchers' lovely lodgings for five consecutive years (99-03) at which time my lower back said, "Sorry, Ray. No more hiking." Rowanfield House is so good I wonder if I should be telling anyone else about or I'll find it that much harder to book. A beautiful property, with views as good as anything I've seen from any accommodation. Food outstanding, hospitality immaculate, rooms luxury. Non-smoking too! More
