I stayed here while on a week long course at the local university and it was lovely. I received a warm welcome on arrival from Sarah, who runs it with her husband Dave. The rooms are clean, fresh and comfortable and they make a real effort to make you feel welcome in their place. The lodge has a calm feel... More

I recently stayed at this hotel with my parents what can I say but fantastic. The owners are the most friendly and caring couple I have met, especially in the hotel business. I chose this hotel for them as they do not allow dogs. I do like dogs BUT not in a hotel room, especially when they are walked in... More

After looking at previous tripadvisor reviews, I chose to stay at easedale lodge for the weekend to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. We arrived on Friday night and were pleased with the central location of the lodge, as it is situated in the centre, only a minute walk from shops, bars and restaurants and were able to park our car in... The room was very comfortable and spotless and the whole house was of a high standard. The owner... More

When it comes to picking accommodation I always do my research. With high expectations and minimal funds it can sometimes be a bit of a challenge, but on this occasion I won that battle. After hours of searching, I knew instantly when I found the one, that one was Easedale Lodge. Like all the buildings in the area, Easedale Lodge... More

We had a wonderful two night stay at Easdale Lodge and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Sarah, the owner, made us feel very welcome straight away and took the time to explain where everything was in the house that we may need. She also asked if we were familiar with Ambleside so she could tell us about local landmarks etc. but as... More
