My friend and I visited the Wilson Arms last night having walked Scafell Pike.Iit was perfect. The fire was lit and we were greeted by friendly cheerful staff. The meal and service were faultless. I would recommend the Wilson Arms anyday! More

We recently stayed at the Wilson arms the night before my husband and brother were taking part in a charity bike ride, the Fred Whitton challenge. We had 6 rooms, which were all very nice, could just have done with more hot water as a lot of us showering at the same time. We had an evening meal there which... More

We stayed here Monday 7th May - greeted by very friendly staff. The room (3) was gorgeous, recently refurbished and beautifully done! The atmosphere in the bar was lovely and cosy with the fire roaring. The food was excellent and the best meals we have both experienced in a long time. Women's toilets are a must see - all done...
