Will definitely stay here again. Beautiful place to stay. Heather and Stephen are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We stayed in the double en suite and the views from both windows are beautiful. Lovely finishing touches in the room and breakfast is very good. Would recommend to family and friends.

My husband and I stayed at Pitcairn House for two nights over the May bank holiday. We had a great few days away. The guest house was extremely well presented. We stayed in an en-suite bedroom that was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We received a very warm welcome from Heather, Steve and family who provided us with information about... More

Booked 4 nights here, originally for a walking holiday. The pictures on the website are nicely representative, but keen to avoid sloping ceilings we booked via telephone after a discussion with Heather. She recommended room 3 as the most popular room, and we weren't disappointed! Unfortunately I was ill with a stomach bug from the first evening, and consequently did... More

Had a lovely Easter weekend stay at the Pitcairn B & B. Ideal location very close to the centre of Keswick. A very warm and friendly reception from Heather & Steve, the room was decorated to a very high and modern standard, with a lovely on-suite. Couldn't fault it and look forward to staying at the Pitcairn again very soon.... More

Hi Catherine, great to hear you had good Easter weekend and hope you enjoyed the little chocolate eggs. The lovely weather was certainly a bonus even if still a little cold. The room you had is a popular, cosy room but unfortunately due to its position does not have a view. We are sure you would enjoy our room 3... More

Heather and Stephen's hotel was recommended by friends and it lived up to expectations. Went for a weekends mountain biking at Whinlatter and Grizedale (which was a bit of a cockup with the Malcolm Wilson car rally !) Good location, couple of minutes walk into town.
