This B & B is very relaxing and home from home. Were able to park outside and was a good base for most walks. The breakfasts were outstanding and nothing was too much trouble for Denise and Rod. I would recommend this B&B to all my friends. More

Spent three knights at Portland House on a walking trip with two friends. The proprietors, Denise and Rod were especially welcoming and hospitable. The breakfasts were excellent, the rooms were spotless and well appointed and the setting was very quiet. The location is good with easy access on foot to the town centre. An outstanding place to stay whilst visiting the area.
