I stayed here last week with my 16 year old, as she was sitting exams at the local school. It is probably one of the nicest small hotels/guest houses I've ever stayed in. Spotlessly clean, modern, well equipped en suite bedroom, with everything you could want, from comfortable beds to nice shower gel and great breakfasts. Welcoming owners who went... More

Four of us (two couples) stayed at the Ashberry Guest House on 26Th May 2013. We were greeted on arrival by Phil who is so friendly and helpful. He showed us around and made us really feel at home. The cleanliness and comfort of this Guest house could not be improved upon in anyway. The breakfast was well cooked and... More

We stayed here for one night on our stop over up to Scotland which it seems is something a lot of people do. The hotel was very easy to find, very convenient for the M6. On arrival we were shown to our rooms, the kids had the twin room downstairs and were instantly delighted with the fact that the bathroom... More

Absolutely excellent B&B. I think the best I’ve ever been to. Nothing too much trouble. B&B's taken to a whole new level of comfort and service. A very welcome stop on the C2C bike ride. Thanks very much

We only stayed for one night on our trip up to Scotland. It wasn't long enough! Ashberry is faultless and Penrtith is a pretty little town. Our room was spotless and very quiet even though it faced the main road. We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived and the hosts recommendations went a long way... More

Only stayed one night but it was faultless. The double room with bath was gorgeous. Lovely decor, pristine and the breakfast was lovely. The owners couldnt do enough and recommended places to eat out. Wil definately go back.

Recently home from a three night stay with hub and little one. Greeted by owner in carpark who helped us in with the bags. Owners were very welcoming and really sweet towards the little one (something you don't always get from a B&B). The room was lovely and very clean with all you could need....including a decent hair dryer! Breakfast... More

This B&B was purpose-built and consequently the layout and facilities have been well-thought out, with lovely fresh decor in the bedrooms and modern en-suite shower rooms. The access slip road to the car park is easy to miss (if you're like me) first time around, but a quick circuit round the oneway loop soon put us right. The car park... More

Our first visit to a b&b and we were not dissapointed! Greeted on arrival by the owner who really coudnt have done any more to make us feel welcome. The whole place is only a couple of years old and is spotlessly clean and decorated to a high standard. The room no1 we had was at the front overlooking a... More
