My partner and I stayed here just for two nights, wish we could have stayed longer, have stayed in a few B&B's/Guest Houses in this area but this was definately the nicest we have been to so far in this price range. This was the nicest, cleanest and friendliest hotel I have ever stayed in. Had three lovely nights in this hotel and will definitely be going back and taking the children. Thank you for a lovely weekend!

We stayed the first week of Easter and had a lovely time. Owners Kate and Barry are very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were so nicely cooked I managed a full English every day. Parking is free. It is a perfect place for first timers in the Lake District as it is close to all amenities and Windermere and Coniston.

Location is good in Windermere. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast quite good. Environment clean and comfortable. I haven't bring along with my swimming suite. Cannot try the private swimming pool. I think it is great.

We stayed at Southview two years ago and are pleased to say that the standard of rooms food and Kate and Barry's hospitality is still excellent. The accommodation is in an excellent location with parking and we will be pleased to stay here again on our next visit to Windermere.

Southview represents the perfect holiday accommodation, great location, welcoming hosts and a service level that is hard to beat. Rooms are clean and comfy and the pool is a great little extra, you can't go wrong! Breakfast is quality fayre and sets you up for the day, we will be back again!
