The epitome of homey, Cambridge House was a wonderful place to tromp back to after a full day of sight-seeing. While the landings are slightly small and narrow, the rooms themselves are warm and comfortable, with large beds you practically sink into. Debbie was so accommodating and really helpful. the room was great it had an absolutely huge bed, good sized bathroom, and we just felt very relaxed staying here. we stayed in a room described as small but found it adequate for our weekend stay with a surprisingly large shower/wc for a small room. The hotel was clean and comfortable and good value. If you are looking for a good value b&b in Windermere then i would recommend the Cambridge House .

Lovely hotel and very friendly. Room had large bed and enough room for us both. The breakfast was one of the best we have had as it is cooked fresh and as you left your order the night before there wasn't any waiting time for it. Brilliant location and are happy to help with restaurant advice. Would stay again.
