If your going to this hotel do not accept room 108, if you have a very young family or elderly unless of course your a party animal. It is right over the entertainment and i measured the noise at 104 decibels the equivelent of being in the underground as the train is passing from 8pm till 1:45am. other than that... More

We stayed at St Chads at the weekend and we loved it, especially the breakfast which was served to us by a lovely lady who couldn't do enough for my wife who is pregnant. In fact it was the best service we have ever had at any hotel and we will recommend it to our friends. More

We were given the name of thos hotel to stay at as we had to sadly attend a funeral in Blakpool. Well we were presently surprised. On arrival we were warmly greeted and the lady on reception knew we were there for the funeral as the person who had sadly passed away was well known at St.Chads. Although the rooms... More

After such a great time we decided to stay over, and as we walked past St Chads we thought we would call in to check on availability for one night. The receptionist was lovely and very helful. The hotel was very clean. We did'nt have to go out at... More

Shocked at the "Fawlty Towers Review???" Are you sure you were at the same hotel as me and the other guests on that weekend??? Although the hotel was quiet, the guests in the cabaret lounge on the Saturday night had a lovely time and the bar staff were very smart, clean and polite? Our room was gorgeous and comfortable. Food... More

The loo roll was a silly mistake but the chambermaid for that room is no longer employed here. As regards the food, we are renowned for our double breakfast offers. All the gentelman had to do was ask for another muesli. I know I, and other staff members spoke to the family but it appeared that they preferred their privacy... More

I stayed at this hotel with a crowd of my friends (17 of us) for the Grand National weekend, I have stayed in some swanky hotels in my time and I'm not saying that St Chads is up there but for service from the staff, food and entertainment it cannot be faulted. We had a great time and we were... More

Rooms great, food and drinks yummy, staff brilliant, onsite parking, cleanliness to an extremely high standard, cabaret, karaoke, kids entertainment, DJ and bar staff all wonderful. A great hotel that cannot be faulted in any way. More

Just returned after an easter break. We witnessed the barman there go drinking in the bar after duty with no money scrounging drinks off elderly guests. We were going to complain but someone told us he was actually related to the owner. We Are actually put off by this and will not return as Its wrong to blatantly fleece guests... More

Gary (the barman) and Les (the guest, single guest, not numerous ones) have been friends for many years. There is no "fleecing" whatsoever in this friendship. Gary had finished his bar stint and Les simply bought him a drink. To suggest that the bar staff are "fleecing" the guests is a blatant misrepresentation of the facts. Les has been staying... More
